yea i know mine is 5x5.5 but the guy that is selling these ones says they are 5x5 7/16 and they were on his 99 f150. is there a difference in lug pattern between 96 and 99?
i have heard of people drillin the bolt holes a very small amount and using different lugs
me personally wouldnt trust it but it seems very popular lol
I've done a lot of half-assed things in my time, but to that... No, I wouldn't. Just go to the junkyard and get them for fifteen or twenty bucks a pop with the right pattern.
Also note that the wheel backspacing on the newer trucks is completely wrong for our trucks so the wheels will be way in under the fenders and may rub on the trailing arms at full lock even with stock sized tires.
Thanks for the help guys. I guess i'm going to have to pass on this deal guy was selling 4 aluminum american racing wheels with 33x12 procomp radials for 500. too bad they wont fit.
