I had the shop install and align mine and I love the look and the ride. It's so worth it!

Hey DallasSuperCrew,
Which type and size lift kit did you install? Also, what was the total cost for labor and alignment? Thanks So Much!

Yes, you should get an alignment after installing a leveling kit.Your toe will be off and your tires will wear unevenly.

Autosprings' 1.5" front leveling kit, alignment, and oil change: $200

Sounds like a reasonable price. I was also wondering about how many inches your 1 1/2 inch Autosprings raised your front end? Thanks!

Actually, a lot of guys are getting the 1.5" since with it there's no chance of the front end ever looking higher than the back. Mine is perfectly level. I don't know if it's because it's a 2WD or just the way it looks, but I love the lift!

I installed a 2" leveling kit (2005 4x4 Super Crew) and all I have to say is it sucked. That's right past tense as they are now paper weights. Reason:
1. Limits extension of strut to 1.5 in travel
2. Puts lower ball joint in extream bind causing excelerated wear, as in 49,000 mile.
3. When loaded (which my often is) nose sticks up.
That's all I got to say about that.

I put the Autospring 1.5 on mine, got a total of 1 3/4 raise which has me perfectly level. Alignment is a must!

Interesting...I wonder if the Bilsteins with the height adjustment is different.
