i need the fitting that screws into my power steering control valve on a 76 f250 4x4. i have been un able to locate one any where. if any body knows were i can find 1 please tell me
You don't have a hydraulic hose shop near you? Like Parker or Hose Pros?
If not, try a John Deere or Caterpillar dealer. They can build any hydraulic hose, so fittings are usually a problem for them. Parker supplies Caterpillar fittings BTW.
There is also industrial NAPA stores that can makes hoses, it's worth a shot, but don't get your hopes up with them.
its not the hose thats the problem. there is a fiyying that screw into the control valve. the power steering lins screws into it. its just a male to female fitting, but the way its flared makes it impossibe to find
don't know if it would help...but I have an old 85 Econoline Van I just pulled the engine out of...not sure if you could use anything out of it, but let me know and I would be happy to send it to you if would work. Email me...Caleb_jns@yahoo.com
