Just traded a newer Ford for this one. I love the old body styles. This one is supposed to have a 428 Cobra Jet...(I know, I know, probably actually a 390, haha). The engine is loaded up whatever it is, aluminum heads, Harlan aluminum roller rockers, edel. intake, ceramic headers. I drove it over 300 miles the first trip home. Ran fantastic. I'll be redoing this and that (paint, interior, engine bay, larger carb).
Looks pretty sweet, I would try and get a proper radiator hose. Those are real hard on the radiator necks. I would find a better air cleaner too. It looks like you got a sweet one though.

Yep, I agree about both the hose and air cleaner. Not sure about the fitment if I was to go braided stainless, guess I could cut to fit.
I need to come up with a better housing for the aftermarket stereo too. Former owner told me they don't make them. Hard to believe. Thanks for checking it out.
i agree about the edelbrock bug eye, one good backfire and you've got a small underhood fire. sweet find though. paint looks fine to me
Beautiful truck - can't go wrong with green lol...
I see it has an MSD ignition system in it...
I had one of those air cleaners on my Fury for about a month or so... I found they don't seal down very well and dirt was getting in under the filament...
I checked that out, exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.

Yeah, don't need that. The clear coat is coming off here and there. Looks good from 20ft though. Thanks.

Yeah, I think that style works good if you have an endurashine carb or something that you are wanting to show off but functionality is not a strong point. THanks.
