back up sensor while towing
hey everyone does anyone else have this problem?
when im towing my trailor and i put it in reverse the back up sensor goes crazy and beeps really loud continuously till i put it out of reverse.
is there a way to turn it off while towing?

I just push the button that controls the back up sensors. I have a Limited '04 and it is located on the dash.

oh i didnt know there was a button
i have a limited 01 so ill check for a button thanks

When backing in my TT I sometimes need to pull forward and then reverse to move the TT over to the place I need to level it. Some drivers are much better at it than me, but I guess with practice I will get better. At a CG I sometimes need to go back and forth a dozen times, that beeping is annoying and loud. Since my TT is almost 36' long and my wife is by the rear of the TT giving me directions I like to have as much silence from my truck as possible, plus you never know when a child may run behind as you back up. It is nice to be able to hear your spotter.
