I thought you would be pretty well finished by now, a GT or two get in the pipeline and interrupt?
Garbz
Thanks Garbz,
yeah there was a number of them that got in the way for a spell. Along with a major operation on my shoulder which took out another 5 months and that was AFTER the operation..
Plan was to have it done for October of 2008 but did not quite work out that way. Still have not re-couped from the Boss Mustang build. Getting too old for this anymore... LOL My get-up & go got up and went somewhere and so far has a great hiding place!
Right now the funds are pretty limited but still plugging along. Time for that spring garage sale!
One of the GT's is still hanging around here somewhere too...
I had thought you dropped off the planet for a while after slicks. Good to see you back and on the mend.
Are you getting down here any time soon?
Garbz
I have been waiting for a bit nicer weather down there...
Some time in April will be down for a spell. Have to thaw out somehow.
Surely not a typical phx weather pattern for past year or so?
Yea, Roosevelt is at 101% capacity for the first time ever since the upgrade. I even have a green yard! I was up in Flag the week before last and it snowed 6 inches in the 3 hours i was there at NAU.
Let me know when you are in. We can meet for some grub.

Garbz,
I will be in town tomorrow afternoon. Snowing here again today and cannot wait to get some Sunshine!
Trying to find a decent home/shop there. CvCrk, CrFre, NScotts area. Possible DsrtHls.
these are carts I built to make it easer to work on and move the cab and box. As can be seen the cab cart stacks on top of box cart for blasting, painting etc. I built bottom cart to be used for engine testing. Also for standing bed on end with an adjustable leg so I can do work in standing position to save on the back.
Awesome project. Hope to someday strip mine completely down & start replacing parts & painting everything.
It looks like in the second pic in the first post that the "car" oil filter mount might require a FL300 filter for clearance or a switch to the truck oil filter mount (but we know how it makes a mess when removing the horizontal filter).
One of the guilty pleasures of living in Arizona. Clean, fairly rust free tin. It took some getting used to as i typically repaired the lower 12 inches of all projects, and used three or four trucks to do it.
