Sounds like you have a nicely set up rig. The chevy is a single rear so it would sink real quick out there, i dont know if you could lift a dozer like that with gin poles, especially with a truck that small. The dozer is pretty dang heavy. I was thinking more along the lines of using a big winch pulling at an up angle from much more solid ground.
Ya, the problem with getting the big equipment out there is just that, moving it. But most of the time the smaller excavators can handle it. id hate to see how stuck we'ed have to get something to need a BIG one
