76 steering replacement help
76 f-250, engine: 390, 4wd, c-6 transmission, 3.73 rear end.
Getting the old farm truck from my dad to rebuild as a fun project over the next few years. Not a huge gear head, but smart enough and dedicated to the project.
The steering is near unresponsive at best, i am looking for ideas and or links to newer gen. steering that can be applied to this model. Small fabrication is not a problem if necessary.
Looking for reliability first, upgrading quality a close second, and some kind of aftermarket steering package a distant 3rd.
