The 08-10 mirrors are a direct bolt on. The wiring though is different. The 08's have heat, power fold and power telescope. The 04-07 trucks came with heated but not the telescope or fold option. You will have to run power and switches to get those options

There are no aftermarket '08 TT mirrors.
Ed the Parts guy sells them at a good price, compared to list:
Power adjust, manual extend, lighted: Power mirrors
Manual adjust, manual extend, no lights: Manual mirrors
I'm thinking about just going with the manual mirrors

Have put them on. I'd like to though. Dfuser sells them with switches for the telescope and fold feature for I think $700-800. Personally I doubt ill get them if they cost that much. Way out of my price range. I could get half a turbo or 3 injectors for that kind of loot

i put a set of power fold 08 mirros on my 06 you have to splice into the factory mirror harness into the door as well as run additonal switches and power to make the power fold , telescope function to work.. You also have to grind off a little tab on the newer mirros.

There is enough people that have done this now and the info is on fte to wire them up yourself and save a little from having to get the complete set with the switches.
My switches ran $5-8 a piece and then a little wire and soldering kit, and connectors/heat shrink. The bigger investment is in the mirrors themselves and then a few hours to wire them, again depending what you had stock.
The 09 and up mirrors now run heat on both the upper and lower mirror, and yes, you can get them color coded.

Any chance in the future of making a retrofit kit that allows us pre-2008 guys to install the power folding mirrors/power telescoping features on our existing mirrors? I would love to do this, but can't spend quite that much on something I won't use all that much.
