MPG is up!!
I've had my excursion about two months now and put about 4000 miles on it. I have been complaining about the miles - 10.5 on display and about 10 hand calculated.
They are mysteriously up to about 12.5 now - I am on track to get about 450-500 miles out of a tank where I only got 350 before.
I don't think I am driving any differently - could there be any other causes? Warmer weather maybe? I didn't idle much.

While driving it more often plays a role, what plays an even bigger role is the fuel. You'll be very surprised to find what they're putting in fuel these days...

that seems like winter gas to me. mine dropped from 10.5mpg with summer gas to 8.5mpg with winter blend.
in the summer i can get 400-460 miles on a tank...recently i can only get 330-350.
