Towing Package???
Can anyone out there tell me how to figure out if I have the towing package on my truck? If you need a visual I have a photo of the rear end in my gallery. Thanks

My 92 XLT had the "tow package" from the factory which included a front AND rear sway bar along with an additional transmission cooler mounted in front of the radiator. there may be more specific things to look for and/or codes on the driver's door jamb or digits in the VIN that may be able to reveal whether your truck had this option. Check with steve83 about deciphering the entire VIN and door jamb heiroglyphics.

Towing Package???
Nothing in the VIN or door sticker codes indicates the towing package - it's just a collection of options, including F&R sway bars, lower gearing, an additional relay box beside the engine compartment fuse block for the trailer lights, a trailer connector, and usually quad front shocks.
