Several years ago, I was on my way home from work, and the Blue Angels were performing for the media and military families on Friday, before the 'regular' "Joint Services Open House" at Andrews Air Force Base, in Camp Springs, MD.
Anyway, these guys were down on the deck, SCREAMING past the cars on Route 5 (Branch Avenue)!
They couldn't have been more than 50. . . maybe 100 feet off the deck!
I thought one of those F/A-18s were going to go THROUGH my truck!!!!
I didn't dare take my eyes off the road! People around me were jamming brakes and freaking out, in general.
Talk about 'doo-doo' in the diaper!

I know they closed the Lake Washington bridge near Seattle when they performed there. I can only imagine the idiots going off through the little handrail and losing their car to 1200' of water.
