Radius Arm. The bushings are not expensive.

Nah. Just unbolt the bracket remove the big nut and put it back. If there is a rivet instead of a bolt, cut it out, then put back a bolt at least grade 5 or above. Jack up the front and take the pressure off the arm with a floor jack.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

all you have to do is unbolt the nut off the back of the radius arm, use a comealong and attach one end to the front framerail and the other to the hole in the radius arm and pull the whole arm out of the bracket. after the arm is out of the mount, put on the new bushings. use plenty of lube on the bushings. always use poly bushings. they may squeek a little but they don't wear out. then push on the end of the arm with your feet while a friend slowly releases the comealong. put the rear bushing on the back of the arm and tighten the nut down with a big breaker bar.

Watch your shock and steering for bending. Never tried it so I don't know but it sounds like it may work.

Yes it's true, and the easiest way to change them.

Froggy does your rig have a van front or a regular pickup hood.

....I don't think you can do it that way if you have lift coils and stock radius arm brackets.

hi frogy! welcome to !! you would get a LOT more assistance with your question if you posted a new thread instead of postin a reply in an existin thread. if the photos are on like photobucket or some place like that, you can just post a link to them, OR right click on the image, go to "view image", and then the image should show up on the screen by itself. copy the URL, then go to the "go advanced" reply button, or if youre makin a new thread you wont have to. got to the toolbar at the top and there is a little insert image buttion that looks like a miniature postcard with mountains on it. past the URL in the pop-up box and be sure the http:// is only in there once. then when you post your pictures will be there. hope you get it figured out!
