I am happy with Liberator but unhappy with the SCTX3 tune. My truck ran much, much better on stock than did with the tune. I had better mileage, acceleration, etc. on stock than with the tune. I also had cold start problems with the tune on the truck. Much of the problem is my local truck shop that sold me the kit and their poor service in getting the tune corrected.
The quality is top notch and the whole thing is built tough. Ialso like the fact that it bolts to the intake vs. being "held" (like a lot of kits) to it.

Are yu using canned tunes or custom tunes form a tune writer, if your not that could be the biggest problem. Also if you are using canned tunes and your truck was reflashed you need to update your firmware for the new(er/est) flash in your truck. Thats why custom tunes are so highly recomended.
Being that you have a SCTx3 if you dont have custom tunes, call over to Innovative Diesel and see if your unit is capable of accepting custom tunes, then have the write you tunes for your truck and dont look back.
Assuming that mechanically you dont have any issues with your truck, FICM comes to mind with you cold start/poor acceleration issues. And hopefully you have guages no matter what tune your running.

It was custom tune from innovative or so I was told. Like I mentioned, the cold start acceleration went away as soon as i went back to stock.
The truck place that sold me the tuner had it sitting in their shop for 3 months trying to download an update/modified program from innovative but the truck place's computer was crappy and they could not do it properly. I instructed them to send it back to innovative so they could reprogram the tune. It has been two weeks now and I was told the reprogrammed tuner was shipped and should have gotten here by now. I may get a refund and then contact innovative directly to get it done properly.
Mechanically the truck is running fine on stock with the exception of the CEL is on.
I have confidence that the tuner will work great once all the bugs are worked through.
I would get that refund and call Eric directly. If the tune writer doesnt write tunes to your specific startegy code you will have problems with the truck when tuned. You say that when its stock all is well so I would get my money back and buy direct from Innovative or someone else that is reputable and familiar with the 6.0
First Coast Diesel also makes a delete kit that gives you a new intake manifold.
Also get some guages if you dont already to monitor things while tuned, and stock.
x2 for River City Diesel...I bought / installed their delete kit ($300) and even bought a turbo-back 4" Magnaflow exhaust ($399) and my truck is sooooo happy these days. Their delete kit is good-n-beefy...tried-n-true! my .02
