07 6.0 miss

I have a 07 f350 4x4 6.0 that has a miss under a load out on the road and some loss of power. I have changed oil and filter and both fuel filters.It does not have the check engine light on. Any know what it might be.

Any mods on the truck?

How many miles on it?

Sorry for all the questions, but the answers can help the diagnosis ...

Any smoke?
Any loss of coolant level?
Have you ever replaced the EGR valve (or cleaned it)?
Are you sure your batteries are healthy (ie load tested them)?
What oil do you use?
Have you had any recent flash updates at the dealership?

I have not changed or replaced egr valve. it has not been flashed.had to add some coolant the other day not much,only smoke that i notice sometimes at cold start and i dont let it warm up before i take off in it.oil is shell 15w40.

You really should get the most recent flash. There are MANY advantages (one big one is having a code thrown if the oil cooler gets plugged).

Also, you might want to look in the Tech folder and read up on pulling and cleaning the EGR valve. Also look at checking the FICM voltage.

I had truck in shop today hooked up and had codes run it showed #5 injector was weak.Would you replace one or all. Do you think that will take care of my miss.

I've been having some injector issues myself and debating on how many to change I also have 127k on the truck. My personal opinion and my opinion only I am not a diesel tech. I would change all of them on that bank. I replaced #6 then two days later #8 went out. If I had the money I would have done them all But I gotta take the kids to Disney world next week so I had get cheap about it.

Bite the bullet and get them from ford. All my injectors were replaced right before I bought my truck and they were all aftermarket. Now they are failing. There are some websites that claim to sell oem parts at discount prices but I'm not sure about those.
