I have an 08 fx4 x-cab, and my manual sliding rear window squeaks when going over bumps in the road. My 05 did made the same exact noise, it seems like it is coming from the top near the headliner. Anyone else experience this, what was the fix?

 

My fix is to take a can of silicone spray with the red nozzle attached, and with a rag around the tip, lightly spray completley around the outside of the rear window frame, between the window frame and truck body. I have to do this twice a year, as the seasons change. I know its not a real 'fix' but it works for me and quiets the squeek down.

I've had to do the same (but with white lithium grease) on my 2004 after noticing a squeak on dry days that would disappear when driving in rain.

 

Yeah I had the same problem and the Silicone spray worked for a little while. It seems as though I have to spray it ever few months or so. I'm surprised that they didn't fix it. It was a problem on the 04-05 model and I assumed they would have came up with a solution but maybe not.
