i've searched the forums, i have a 5.4l triiton on a 99 f250, some people are saying that theres a square whole with a 1/2" screw well mine doesn't let me fit a 1/2" in the whole, is there another point to tighten the belts?

ok i may have solved my own problem, i was messing with the belt tensioner looks like it wont tighten up all the way, so therefore im loosing power to my powersteering. so im gna go pick up a new tensioner, if you guys have any information on this issue that would be great.

Are you sure your belt isn't just stretched out and needs replacing?

it looks like there is space where the tensioner can travel to tighten more, when the rpms are higher then idle i get power steering back, when i pull on the belt, the tensioner gives and i can pull the belt pretty easily
