I was going to go but seen as how this is going the way of all the other meets have gone I am going to pass on maplefest this year.
I have another obligation on sunday. I was going to blow it off for FTE but seen as how this meet was short notice and has already fell through I am going to do that.
If you can talk to the owners of the sugar shack for a camp thing in june july or Aug that should be plenty of time to get the word out. Figure out a few dates and what potention cost would be and we will go from there.
I am going to Carlisle ATN'n with FTE the first weekend in Aug so that is out for me but don't let that hold anything up.
Looks like not enough to bother--I agree-- would be cool to put together a meet somewhere central to attract more---maybe we could find a mud meet somewhere and have a club get-together there??? Would make it more attractive for family guys ( us family guys ).My wife hates riding in my truck....
I don't know where there are any mud spots. All the trails I know of and few mud spots are all shut down, paved or have houses on them now.
I would like to get a meet going. Preferably one per month. I have a thread with pole in it to see what most people would say there best day of the month is for a meet. I was going to take that and than find a central spot to have a generic meet-n-greet in the same spot every month unless a "special" meet was made. It worked great a bunch of years ago(2001-2004) for another forum I was on. There would be from 2 to 20 vehicles at these meets.
there could be some spots to get muddy if we plan a meet at the shack, theres a few people i can talk to for land use of wheeling, and theres a 4x4 group in my town that has trails that they use
