Greetings All, I'm new here and I am ordering a new Ranger Edge standard with a limited slip differential. I have heard three different stories about my question which is ; who manufactures the Lsd for the Edge standard? Torsen's site tells me that they make LSDs for the FX4, only. I hope to find correct information 'cause I've heard uncomplimentary comments about the Torsen. If Torsen does'nt make it for my truck who does? I thank any and all for any help at all, in advance. zeek
Thank you for that info. Do you by any chance know where I can find details of the Ford LSD? I'd just like to take a look at how it is built. And get the pros and cons of it. TIA, zeek
I don't know who makes the diffy's that are in your ranger, but about Torsion diff's.Who said bad things about them?I run a all gear Torsion, and it'll lock solid without the ratcheting and bucking around the tight twisties.I ate two traction lok's in my 5.0 monster before going to the Torsion, and it's handeled every beating I've thrown at it so far.Slicks and all,I'm now more worried about twisting my axels.
Peace out.
