II ran the math and if I had a single unit hub failure while traveling with the family I would more than cover than the cost of the kit for towing, dealer, food and hotel.
We do math the same way brotha! Every 'upgrade' I make is justified his way! New injectors, new GTP 38R, etc...
I also do everything myself (except I did let someone else do b.joints 3x... hehehe ) so whatever I 'save' on labor I aplly to the highest quality parts - like EBC brake pads, Denso super-starter, belts, hoses, pretty much everything! If there is good, better, best - I ALWAYS get 'best'! Of course I work all over the country and drive 10yr old trucks with 300k and 200k miles on them - so reliabilty is paramount!
Got the ball Joints done on Saturday with a friend. It took about 8hrs. I good the Moog set. The joints were bad! I couldn't have done it without the post people put here. The write ups and videos were great! I definitely recommend the 3 jaw puller for the wheel bearings and the ball joint press. Saved a lot of aggravation. So thanks for your help guys!
