Way to go man! Those are awesome. Nice, clean and simple. I especially like your pipe bender.

That turned out great!
The only difference I see between my N-Fabs and those steps you made is that mine mount to the body in 3 places, but that may just be a crew cab thing.

How much do you think you saved making those bars yourself?

Thanks guys!! I saved about $300. Really happy about that. I thought about making some sets and selling them but I wanted to see how mine hold up first.

They look great 06powerstroke06! Really clean and "factory". The only thing I would change, and this is from experience slipping many times on diamond plate, would be to use an expanded metal instead of the plate... a built-in mud scraper and good traction to boot.

Thanks Guys! I was just at the shop where I bought my steel and saw the diamond plate and thought it would look good. Its only bolted so its really easy to take off if it gives me problems.

Looks GREAT.

Being a welder myself, the only thing I would have done different is to mitre cut and weld the pieces you bent.

It always feels good to do it yourself, and the money saved can be used for beer on the weekend

Thanks! That was going to be what I did if the bending didnt work out. I didnt do it because I wanted a smooth bend instead of a point.
