The only difference I see between my N-Fabs and those steps you made is that mine mount to the body in 3 places, but that may just be a crew cab thing.
How much do you think you saved making those bars yourself?

They look great 06powerstroke06! Really clean and "factory". The only thing I would change, and this is from experience slipping many times on diamond plate, would be to use an expanded metal instead of the plate... a built-in mud scraper and good traction to boot.

Thanks Guys! I was just at the shop where I bought my steel and saw the diamond plate and thought it would look good. Its only bolted so its really easy to take off if it gives me problems.
