Beacon and Bridge Gas is the culprit
Hey guys, had another issue of the truck going crazy and once again... Beacon and Bridge fuel.
Let me start this out with I KNOW THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY TRUCK. Not sure what, but I know it's sensory related and it doesn't throw codes. I'm fairly certain this is making my truck more sensative to fuel and weather changes than it should be.
However, once again I was back in Flushing and got some Beacon and Bridge gas, this time from the M-13 and M-57 location as opposed tothe one down town. I was coasting on fumes and only put in $20 getting me to 1/8 tank.
Sure enough within a mile or two it started misfiring, knocking, stalling, the whole 9 yards from the last time it went nuts. Only this time I was far enough from the homestead that by the time I got home (luckily) I was back on E again.
All worried that I wouldnt be able to get back to GR with my busted truck I filled it up with BP 87 octane and guess what: 2 miles or so later it was running like a champ again.
Thus, my conclusion is that B&B fuel must have some sort of contaminents or be partially diluted with water just enough such that only a sick vehicle and my Harley notice it. (The Harley will not even run on that crap, it just fouls the plugs and if it does run it can't hold an idle) I just always figured the bike needs leaded fuel and that unleaded, so once the lead additive goes in it'll run on anything and the fuel quality was never suspected.
So, the important thing is I'm certain they have subpar fuel at a slightly expensive price. And more importantly, what would make my truck more sensitive to fuel quality? I'm starting to lean towrds either weak ignition or 02 sensors, any thoughts?

Definitely will do! I just wonder whats wrong with my truck to make it so sensative? Does this sound familiar? Scanner shows everyhting checks out but its economy is sucking a fat one again. But it'll only be a few days before its back to 16 mpg again
