Leaving for Ohio

Hey guys & gals. I am going to be moving in early May to Ohio with my girlfriend. I will miss Minnesota quite a bit! Being busy with everything I see you guys are planning a get together. Hope it fun.

I plan on being a chapter member of MN still though. Keep up with my fellow MN gearheads!

Good luck in Ohio Jim. What precipitated the move? Work? Please feel free to chime in here anytime and let us know how things are going.

Oh I will be around here when I can. I am going over there for work and the gf's family needs her since she is the corner stone of the family that holds things together etc. As for the jobs, I am getting beat out by guys with experience over here for the heavy diesel technician positions. Her father knows quite a few people over in Ohio in the heavy truck/diesel world so I am hopefully going to land something. I can fall back on concrete finishing etc and auto parts counterman experience too. I wish I would have been able to come along with the GTG you guys have rollin' for the future!

Have fun in Ohio Jim!
I will for sure! Norwalk Drag strip is about an hour away from where we will be plus Summit Racing is only a half hour away as well

Things have changed and we are actually moving 2 weeks from today. I have to work my butt off to get things done around here before I leave.

Haha, most of the heavy work is almost done now Troy. I should be done with the big jobs once I get the late-model moved to my cousin's garage next week.

My girlfriend's grandparents, one on each side of the family are having health problems. Not good. Yes is quite the adjustment Jay, so many different things to do its a pain when you get something done and then you see more that needs to get done even though they are small things. Well, back to work, talk to everyone later!

Well I have no clue where Shelby is, but I changed my location to all those wondering that question. I will have to take a look on a map to see where you are going to be MNDiesel. We are in the NE area of Ohio. We made it safe and sound. The only pain was driving through the suburbs of Chicago with the U-haul.

I could have helped you there since I tow my 37 foot 5th wheel through there all the time, just didn't think about it. But you made it and that is a good thing. So you must be over by Cleveland then if you are in the NE. Not real close to Shelby but I will be going right through Cleveland area July 10th...
