88 ranger 4X4 problem

Angry 88 ranger 4X4 problem
My 88 ranger has electornic touch 4 wheel drive and manual locking hubs. with the hubs locked and i put it in either 4 wheel high or low the light comes on indicating that the it is engaged. The problem is the front wheels will not pull. Any ideas.

SOunds like you got broke hubs, broke chain, broke shifter rail, or spider gears are stripped!
