I'm running a 6.9 smf with 6.9 smf pressure plate with zf5 clutch disk in my 7.3, and it works great. I put that in when I did my e4od to zf5 swap. I have been running it for 9 months with no issues, and was wayyy cheaper then the luk smf setup. I even used all used parts, but next month I am putting in new clutch disk, pressure plate, etc from autozone. I also found out from cheepers jeepers old thread that it would work.
