Mine only makes the noise when its cold at an idle, or when I lug it below 1000 rpms in 3rd or below. When its warm it doesn't make the noise at idle, and it idles at 700 rpm. When I first heard it it scared me but now its just a part of the truck and I like it.

If you have a choice, put the dual mass in. You won't like the noise, believe me, mine is noisy. I bolted my dmf together and used a disc with springs in it. I don't know if you have ever driven a old dump truck, but that's about how noisy it is.

It depends on how my back feels tomorrow lol. I stabbed just to see how it would all be with the intention of swapping it. but I'm not used to this stuff anymore. lol

Well I had the motor swing and just picked up and stabbed it, but it took longer than I wanted because the motor kept moveing. lol

I remember a time log ago when I used to bench press trannies to put them in. Now I have to use a jack lol. But most of the younguns out there can't bench one in so I geuss I stil got them beat.
