voltage test
hi guys trying to run a voltage test to see where my craw in the system is, thought it was the voltage regulator, but with a new one it is drawing just as much if not more. any other ideas what it could be? also on my voltmeter in the DCA i have 4 settings, which one should i use, i have 200u, 2000u, 20m, and 200m, i ran the test on the 20m the last few tests, is this correct? ( old reading were about 2.80, new reading are about 3.60- 3.70)

ok as dumb as it may sound, how do i test it across the battery, ive only tested for draw by hooking the voltmeter in line with the negative post to negative terminal, and like ive said in another post, im more of a mechanical than an electrical type of person
