Speedometer caliberation

O.K. I know my speedometer does not match my GPS due to tire size is there a way to adjust it to right with out having a tuner?

You can adjust for tire size using AE.

Changing tire size using AE - Originally posted by Ron's power stroke Thanks Ron

After the pcm logs on you will get the vehicle selection box. When it opens go to the bottom where it says System.

It should already say enhanced power train Click the drop down arrow and change it to anti lock brake then click on ok.

After the truck connects click on the test on board system tab. Click the drop down tab next to the initiate button and select
tire size.

When that opens there will be a left and right arrow on the far right next to the initiate button. Click the right arrow
to get a bigger tire.

No tuner on the market can ajust for tire size on a 7.3... You dont get a tuner for ajusting tire size.

You can get a programer or chip for the power, shifting and such...

AE is a tool, something you can run every test a ford shop could do and more.

It also allows you to ajust for tire size, on anyone's rig you plug into... Very nice!

Is there a limit to the number of times you can change it?
