Wiring help '79 F250

I recently bought a '79 F250 XLT Crewcab 4x4, 460 auto, that had sat in a field for 6 years. Its a real cherry, no rust or damaged body panels at all, strong engine and tranny, old man that had it just quit driving it one day.. Anyhow, as you would guess, mice, etc.. chewed up some of the main harness wiring under the hood. I have got the truck cleaned up, all wiring repaired to spec, except for one loose wire (couldn't find the other end) that for the life of me I can't figure out what it feeds. Its green w/yellow stripe about 20GA, and when the battery is hooked up it is constant hot 12V. I think it may be for the cab glove box light or something but Im not sure...Any ideas?? Im not good at reading wiring diagrams in Haynes.. looks like chinese to me.

I know you've only got 1 "good" end left, but where does the wire start from or end? Might help to determine what it was.
Having never had anything later than a 77 in these trucks I'm not to sure about the 78/79's and if I remember hearing right on here the wiring might have changed a little.
