Thanks for the compli's. Its a Grant wheel but the stupid Grant company doesn't offer a kit that fits my truck with the wheel I wanted. So, I manufactured some stuff and it fits, and the horn works but cruise is getting re-wired to the console with the factory buttons. Crazy thing is nothing is permanent. I did everything with my father in mind [him saying, "this truck is great the way it is, don't change anything"] and I didn't change anything I can't change back in an afternoon. I want to stay on that path for the most part. Seat are a hole drilling replacement. They are Ford buckets to replace the factory 40/60 and are getting leather soon.
HardDrive - PM me specific questions. It was a stupid install that required some ingenuity. I'd be glad to guide you through what I did and what I'd do different with step by step pictures.
heres mine. putting in a highliner headliner. havent had time to put it in the truck yet, since ive been pretty busy. put the speakers togather though! heres a pic of it. soon as i get it installed i will have the ole CB back in the truck and a 100w pa speaker to get me in some trouble. cant wait!
I'll probably never have GPS, I enjoy exploring too much.
Can't afford exploring when I'm a thousand miles from nowhere (Dwight Yoakam anyone?) with someone else's car on the trailer tho... Besides I mostly drive at night, and have you tried finding a fuel station that sells diesel out in the boonies past midnight? lol

Well it does look like you did a real nice job with it all!
i redid mine in the summer of '08. it used to be blue which was god awful with the new orange paint. so i stripped it..painted the dash and all the interior trim grey. then recovered the headliner and door panals with orange fake suede i'm pretty happy with how it turned out..but i would like to just get new door panals somtime. also got the new seat from a '95 f-150.
For now all I have done is the blue LEDs in the dash and other interior lights. Right now im waiting on my new SA-8" subs to get here and ill start on my center console/sub box.

You're more likely to find diesel out here in the sticks...
Mine started out as an '88 F150 Custom interior. It was as basic as you could get.
Seats are from a Nissan 300ZX Turbo, recovered with gray twead and yellow piping. Center console/seat is custom made from an LTD bench seat.
The steering column is from an '80 Grand Marquis with a Tempo steering wheel. I made all the billet ***** and shift lever.
The cluster was redone using Autometer Cobalt guages. I made the dash center pod out of fiberglass, covered with vinyl. I needed more space for gauges and a double din Alpine DVD.
I added twead covered panels to the door panels. The lower map pocket was swapped side to side to allow for the 6x9s at the front of the door. I originally had 6" rounds in the door, just never made new covers.
I filled up the space behind the seats with a pair of 10 subs.

Wow. That is an amazing looking interior. Very clean!
Wait until you see the outside!
Sportuk : Fiberglass me some door panels for 2 6" mids in each of them at the bottom where yours is and still have a map pocket like yours.

How hard was it to install the Panther steering column? I've been wanting to do that as I really like them steering columns and I really dislike the truck ones...
Thanks for the pics 9.ford.5. Thats exactly what I was looking for. I have my trim out right now trying to paint it and recovered one of my door panels in black where you have yours painted blue. It didn't really turn out the way I wanted. Nice lookin ride man! How did you get the stock gauges to shine blue?

the blue LED bulbs do not cooperate with the dimmer switch any more, its hardly noticeable...no i havent scraped off that green filter, there is a very faint green tint to them still someday i might ge the energy to go back in there and fix that though

I will be watching this thread. Am currently looking for seats to swap into my f350 crew cab. Going to use buckets from something with the center console from a new f-series
