88 tranny help please

1988 bronco eddie bower edition with the 302 aod4 tranny and push button 4x4 can i changer the aod4 to a c6 with out having to get the drive shafts modified can i just pull the aod4 and put a c6 with no extra work

Probably not. Was the C6 offered in that truck?

Find a 4x4 model C6 for the 302 and get the tape measure out and compare to your set up.

The c6 was offered in these trucks thhat year. I think that the aod is a little longer than the c6. Worst case you would need to get the drive shafts from a yard and maybe rebuild it.
