automatic door locks
Can someone please tell me how to disable those aggervatin automatic door locks on my 96 explorer? I don't want my doors to lock when I put the trans in gear. Thanks

automatic door locks
from 96 manual
1. enter the permanent 5 digit entry code (not the personal code you may have set)
2. within 5 seconds pres and hold 7/8
3. within 5 seconds press and relase 3/4 (while still holdin 7/8)
4. release 7/8
or
there is a twelve step turn key - push buttonj do a little dance step as well if this first one does not work i can send that one

automatic door locks
I too would like help on disabling those blasted locks, the worst thing about my 95 Explorer without electronic entry locks. I tried the sequence in the manual that didn't seem to work.
My daughter locked the baby in the car last week, luckily the AC was on and I was there in minutes. Automatically locking you out of your car after a few seconds? What were they thinking?
Any help, please email, thanks so much. I am looking at upgrading to an Expedition, do they also have this awful "feature"?
