Looking for side lights
2016 F250 crew cab with ARE MX topper. Topper has Yakima rack\aero bars.
Looking for recommendations on how to provide some good work/scene type lighting around the sides of the truck. This will be used during ice fishing, hunting, camping, etc. Doesn’t need to be crazy bright, but enough to work on stuff standing next to the truck. If the truck was older I would drill the topper, mount 4 adjustable pods and run power. But putting 15 or so holes into a brand new under warranty topper has me looking for a less destructive solution.
Under hood bracket, something that can use the Yakima rails or similar would be great. Search didn’t find me much, lots of front light bars and backup light pods.

I added rock climbing lights to the side of the bumpers. The front are only tied into the fog lights. The rear are tied into the reverse lights and also tied into a switch board I added in the bed that I can turn those and the puddle lamps I added under the running boards on and off. Good light for around the truck.

The first picture shows how dark it is in the barn. The second shows the reverse and rock climbing lights on. The third I have my hand over the brighter JMAster reverse lights and the last is with the reverse lights uncovered again . Do not remember the brand, but they were the only ones I found on Amazon that that had 4 chips. Give good light about 5 foot around the vehicle, which is what I wanted for backing up and unhooking the camper at night.

i added the ford F150 OEM puddle lights to the bottom of my 08-16 SD mirrors and they light up the sides nice
i also think they have a mirror spot light option that shines a light out that you might add to your mirrors
also i would think the frame sits low enough that you could put some lights there with 2X tape and not have to drill any holes
