I came across what I have been told is a 1977 (also told it could be a 1973)
F100 in a junk yard. It has a nice heavy duty rear bumper.
Is there any chance this would fit my 1967 F100?

It depends on the width of the rear frame rails.
Your 1967 F100 has rear frame rails that are 33 1/2" apart.
1973/77 F250 4WD's (High Boys) & 1973/79 F350's on the 140" wheelbase have the same rear frame rail width.
ALL other 1973/79 F100/350's have rear frame rails that are 37 1/2" apart.
The bumper might fit, but the brackets will not...if the frame rail width is 37 1/2."
Aftermarket step bumper brackets are usually welded to the bumper.
Mike I didn't see that you were from Cary, there was a guy over near Moncure,
Jerry Lowe 1475 Charlie Brooks Road, Moncure - (919) 542-5993 that had a small yard with several trucks.
I don't know it's condition today, it's been a while.
