So, took the truck to Ford today in order to get the 2 recalls taken care of: CPS, and the brake fluid indicator. Well, then they did the Courtesy Inspection. They wrote down a few things that I already knew about, but there's one that I didn't notice until i got home. It says "turbo feed hoses collapsed". Anyone wanna explain that to me? Not really sure what they're talking about. It was after closing time by the time I noticed, so I haven't gotten a chance to call them.
I figured coming here and asking would be great a great idea...you all haven't let me down yet!
So, apparently, one of the aluminum TUBES has a small area the size of a quarter that got pushed-in a little. They want $360 to "straighten" it out. Hahahahaha

Thats crazy. Stay far away from them. Nothing wrong with the tube and most here don't even have a muffler, on purpose.
I believe the CPS was creating my windshield wipers causing my engine to stall. However, not sure yet, cuz haven't had to use them since the recall. They didn't give me the old one, but I do have a brand new in the glove box for one of those "oh *****" situations. Now, the other recall is taken care of...and made a huge difference. It would make the brake light come on, no big deal, right? Well, I travel between Norfolk, Va and Knoxville Tn, often, and it prevents the cruise from engaging.
