ok i was taking out my injectors to replace the o-rings and i took the injectors out and noticed that the middle two injectors were missing the second from the top o-ring. i need to know if i should put it there or put it back the way it was? please help and one.
actually not really. it was just smokin like a freight train. and they had 285000 miles on them that is why i cant figure them out. but i just noticed that the new ones are different yhan the old ones.
What year model is the truck? A Ford Tech told me last week that my 1995 F350 stock Orings were prone to go bad and that new ones would be different. He said that Ford had updated them.

WHAT???
Are you sure you didn't roll them when you pulled the injector out?
Yes!!! They need all three o-rings. The middle one separates the oil/fuel on the stick. Were you consuming any oil? What does your fuel filter look like?
ok all done and i hope i got it right. i got the kit from riffraff along with the 6637. and here is the order of the o-rings the way i put them on(which i think may be right). starting from the top i replaced the steel ring followed by the square shaped o-ring(grey) directly followed by the large round o-ring (black). then the gap. then where i had questions about was the middle had one almos oval shaped pink o-ring, where the two were supposed to be. then another gap then the thick orange o-ring. and it used very little oil. but it had a regular stream of white/blue smoke all the time before and alot at crank up. it finally cranked on the fifth or sixth crank of about twenty seconds and also after i perged the filter bowl. she runs now but it takes a long time to get her started. she just spins over for like ten seconds then finally cranks. and when it does crank it spudders for a few seconds and then levels out. and at idle it "skips"whuch i think both may be caused by air in the lines? any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
ok thanks. i thought that i might have messed up somethin with it runnin funky. and thanks clay i did put it on right. illbe drivin it this weekend. we just got my dads trans put in this evenin and he is all geddy to get to drive it again. its been sittin for like three months now. lol
