bleeding oil

I parked, got out and thought "wow, someone's got a bad oil leak" turned out to be me. It's leaking from the front of the engine, driver's side, under the ac compressor. So, what is it and how hard is it to fix? can I try that lucas stuff and can I get home(5 mi flat roads)?

Well you are going to have to look but the oil cooler is a possibility and so is the filter.
Can you make it home???? That has to be your call.

depends on how much oil is really leaking, if it is a quart a minute then you will need a few quarts to get home with guaranteed safety. Just stop every two miles and add but i bet it aint that bad. If it is, get a 4-5 quart jug of cheap crap 15-40 and you will bo good. I drove from pensacola florida to denver colorado with a blown rear main seal in my bronco, i was killing a quart every hour or so. Took two cases plus two quarts. It made a horrible mess but it was fine. As long as the engine has oil and coolant, it will live. Keep it topped and you will be fine, but it will ultimately be your choice, choose wisely grasshopper! haha
