The green engine paint used on the Ford engines is Krylon Green #2007 - in spray cans.

Check with POR-15. Spray bomb can paint never lasts. I used POR-15 engine paint on my F-2 15 years ago and it looks almost as good now as when I applied it. I don't take care of the appearance of the engine compartment of my truck, I just drive it, it's not a show truck. I can only imagine it I actually took the time to detail it on a regular basis it would look just like it day I applied it.
The POR-15 is a kit with a cleaner, primer and high solid paint. I pretty sure others sell basically the same thing. I wouldn't use the spray can paint on a engine I wanted to last.
