Hey hope everyone is doing well! I slid off the road at a blistering 5mph in the mud and was trying to get the truck out of the ditch with not much success earlier this week. At one point, I got a P1783 trans overtemp code and the TCIL light and check gauge light turned on. Probably because torque converter was unlocked the whole time and the trans overheated. I immediately stopped and let it high idle until the light turned off shortly thereafter. I scanned for other codes and got a P0732 and P0733 which from what I understand are a gear 2 and gear 3 incorrect ratio given because the rpm change was not detected.
Check trans fluid and while it didn't look burnt, I will change it. At any rate, could the P0732 and P0733 be set because of excess wheel spin on a very low friction surface in turn causing a non detectable rpm drop by the computer? I could tell when the trans was shifting, but the rpm drop was very minor.... Any ideas?

Sounds good. I will clear the codes and see if they come back again. I wasn't really watching the speedometer when I was trying to get out of the ditch. I'd imagine it was reading pretty high as I had the accelerator on the floor for a good amount of time...At any rate, Thanks for the reply!
