I found a "Square Body" F100 with the large rear window last weekend. Nobody home. Been sitting since '08 by sticker. 390 ci in it. Auto. Not much rust. Rear and front glass was good. Driver's side would need replacement. Rat rod potential. Place looked like Pickers. Stuff every where. Guess I am looking for a opinion from you girls and guys. Go for it or not. Not a fan of the square body. Yeah I know I am on my own. But, slammed it looks cool.
Are you talking no fenders, no hood?
Sounds really awful
That is not the picture. I did not say anything about taking the hood and fenders off. When I say rat rod I am talking about leaving it as is. Not spending a lot of money, time and work on it. Not restoring it or making it look all pretty and stuff.(Been there done that.) Leave the big engine in there. Leave the old ratty paint and primer on it. Get it running and stopping reliable. And, just have fun with it. I would not even consider it if it was not a big window.
If the price is fair go for it.
They are a nice truck. A nice mix between the newer ond older models.
Lot's of room but still the older solid construction.
I have a 59 that is much the same as you describe this one (although it still has the original 6 in it) and love it.
It is a pleasure to drive.
