Maybe a picture posted here would help! I know you can still get the carbs at the repro parts places, but they are pricy.
Mr. John Smith is an EXPERT at rebuilding those carbs!
Ah those were the days, eh John? Hows the old panel running? Any new improvements?
Expert ............... Expert at following suggestions ....maybe. Thanks to Coolie Julie and many others at this fine place I was able to re-do my old 2 barrel.
I'm soaking my exhaust manifold bolts now. I got cracks in both and all the gaskets are shot. I was getting fumigated every time I took a spin .I got new manifolds, crossover and main pipes to put on. Going to do tie rod ends, maybe king pins this springs and the 12v conversion. The rear lights on a Panel @ 6v are almost non existant/ dangerous.
well I have a carb that I tried to run on my inline. It ended up being too small originally it was on the flathead that came with my truck. I gave it a rebuild. your welcome to have it.
Thanks for the information I will try ebay and see if I can find one but the only thing is that you don't always know if they are good or not when you buy off of ebay I guess I will just have to take a chance and hope for the best.
