Bully Dog Gt
I just installed a bully dog GT on my 2002 F350 diesel 2 days ago.
According to it in stock I get about 13 to 15mpg. Tows about the same. I put it in performance I got 17 in town and 20mpg on open road (haven't tried the highway yet get back to you on that). I got the accelerator sensitivity set on low like stock (it was too dangerous on medium and I don't want to even want to try high setting)
I got this for gas mileage, I know I can really screw the truck up with it if I rawdog it but I baby the girl like anything I drive.
Meaning: NO burnouts, overloading (exept my fat #%%), Gunning it at green lights. etc.
To be safe I won't use the extreme setting at all costs.
When I tow I'll put it on tow or stock to be safe.
As far as shift on the fly. When I change tunes the truck is in park idling to be safe.
My trucks main purpose 90% of the time is to get me to work and back, and 10% pull a bumperpull trailer with a car on it most of the time and soon a camper (hopefully)
