Which heads are better?

Well, the D2TE AA are 1972 truck style heads with induction hardened exhaust seats for unleaded fuels. You will see a lot less seat recession with these heads. I was thinking of building a set for my 69 Mach 1, but decided to stay with my C8OE-N heads. I'm not sure how the ports and valves compare between either set. Do a google search on each casting number and it will take you to a site that will break them down by specs. Bruce

They are pretty much the same except for the hardened seats in the D2 heads. However you can upgrade the C6 heads with hardened valve seats while the heads are in the shop for a valve job.

I guess I need some clarification. I thought the C6AE heads are the older style, vary large open D-shaped combustion chamber, w/ taller intake ports too?? Or do you mean the same because they are all just factory cast heads, w/ not a GREAT deal of differences?
