good tip on the tires, I am going to have to swing by there and look them over. Makes sense now that it has been mentioned. On the order sheet it had Goodyear tires as an option. Sad, very Sad. We may have to have them swapped out.

Although the industry has supposedly stopped using Chinese tires, I would encourage you to check. Those tires are absolute garbage (as it most of the stuff I have to use that is made in China). The ones I have seen are worthless in three years or less.

My two cents (based on what I am seeing in the field).

Can't say I am the least bit surprized. The unfortunate thing is a blow out on the road can do so darn much damage. Checked em often and keep em aired up would be my advice in regards to tires.

Great advice on those tires, I am gonna check it out. If they are those Chinese tires then I will tell them to swap them out or no deal. For the price of this 5th wheel it would be totally wrong to skimp on the tires.

I always run mine at about the max psi as well.

On our 2008 KZ, at about 15,000 miles lost one tire and tore up underbody and outer skirt, out of the other 5 tires only one was still round, others coming apart.
Forgot myself and told the tire guy that if the one was still good, I wanted to keep it.
Thought he was going to slap me.

Well, been doing a bunch of searches, I had called the sales guy and asked him over the phone what they were. I don't think he really knows because I cannot find anything on them. Finally found this website and they are not listed here either:Tire Brands and Makers

So I am gonna have to look at them myself so I can figure out what they are. If I can't then we are gonna have an issue.

All the Chinese tires I have seen have had "made in China" stamped on them. I can't recall the name on them, but it immediately caught my attention because it was something I hadn't seen before.

I spend considerable time redoing underbelly, water and gas lines, and forming up new body panels, when a tire blows.
