Wait... If you can't get another car until you are 19, then why can't you keep the truck? If the alternative is no car why can't you wait to save up the money? I could understand if you needed something running right now, but if you don't, then what's the huge hurry?

I prefer to take to the tunnel cover pan off from inside the cab and reach in through there to get the top bellhousing bolts out.

If he wanted to do something on the cheap, couldn't he just throw a C6 in her?

Yes, but I am slightly confused about the whole post anyway. In the first post he said he couldnt buy the tranny from his uncle for $500 because he wouldn't take payments even though he could give him $700 now?

Then he said he only had $200 in another post, its hard for me to really understand the posts as one big run-on sentence. I find myself re-reading them several times.

Ok, so I read it again, and it seems as though he would give his uncle a total of $700 for the transmission if he would let him pay for in payments. Which would be overpaying his uncles asking price by $200 dollars. I dont know, seems like a crappy uncle if he cant help the guy out a little bit

I refuse to ask for favors like that from friends and family, and generally refuse to grant them. Before my oldest friend got his current job, he needed something for his home network, and it was on sale for about half price. I bought it, and held on to it until he had the money, so if he couldn't pay me, I'd have had it.
