Compatible Driveshafts for 1990
Yesterday, the rear driveshaft in my 1990 F150 fell out. The back u joint broke. I need to replace the driveshaft and want to save money by getting the replacement at a junkyard for $50 bucks instead of an autoparts store for $300. My problem is I don't know what driveshafts will work on my truck. I have not been able to find my exact truck in my area in a junkyard. It is a 1990 F150, 4x4, 5 spd manual with the 302. Its a regular cab, short bed. If I go to a junk yard, what should I look for?
