Just wondering, I was thinking of replacing my stock box with the 6637 from Riff Raff,
Any problems or recomendations?
I know this is a common question, but I just wanted some new input from people who have been using it for a long time.
is it worth doing?
Cheaper filters, more filter material, better air flow... relatively cheap modification too. I don't think I've got a pic of mine posted yet.
Clay has it as a kit over at riffraff with a black powder coated adapter tube, t-bolt clamp and good looking Pete's cover. (Saves having to track down the parts separately, especially considering that his prices are so reasonable.) He's good people too.
Will this filter work on the plastic K&N cold-air intake ? The K&N seems to be letting a bit of dust in and that's the last thing I want.
Thanks !
Scott
thats how I did mine. I bought it used with a K&N, you may have to trim the battery tray and you will have to remove the K&N box but the filter will slip right over the intake tube.
