Saw Summit is carrying a new diff cover for the Sterling 10.25 and 10.5 diffs. Has a lot of features and is priced decent. Would have bought it rather than the Ford alum cover if I saw it.
Seems pricey when the Ford one www.partsguyed.com is only $50. I guess the drain plug is nice, but how often are you really going to need it? I agree with Rick, the logo would have to go.

anyone seen or heard anything good about the see through diff covers? seen one online yesterday forget who makes it but looked cool. i also seen a front steering diff cover from OUO that looks sweet. thinking about getting one because the dual steering stabilizer set up from BDS i have now puts the stabilizers below the tie rod bar which takes away ground clearance...i would know the OUO set up puts it above the tie rod bar right inline so everything is smooth. Is the bearing cap support a usefully option?
Rick...
I don't know how effective the bolts that snug up against the caps are, seems to be popular on the lightnings diff covers.
I agree it is a little expensive for what it is but everything that trick flow sells isn't cheap, its inline with some of the other cover with drain and fill plugs though. I like the the fill and drain in the same spot and I'd think the fill hole would be easier to get the bottle or fill tube in to pump the oil in. I guess this cover is mainly for the guys with the diesels that pull sleds or drag race, makes for quicker oil checks and changes.

Guys put see thru covers on atvs and motorcycles and have leaking issues. I wouldn't trust one on my truck. The oil can get hot when towing and the ring really throws around the oil, not to mention if you hit the plastic cover with something.
I think its Purple Cranium company possibly.
They look good, but wont they get milky after a short time?
But anyway, its not a good idea to use a plexiglass type materail
in a high heat application.
