F250 351w engine upgrade list

Alright guys I've been doing some homework and researching what exactly upgrades i want to do to my truck. I got a 97 F250HD 351w 4x4 E4OD SD. I was hoping i could get some peer review on all of the parts I want and get some feedback on where i might improve or maybe decide against.

1.Six Litre Tune-up

2. Swap stock intake manifold and throttle body with:
-Trick Flow® TFS-515L0004
-Trick Flow® TFS-515U1103
-BBK Power-Plus Series 1503

3.Cam swap and 1.7RR
-COMP Cam 35-255-5
-Crane RR 44746-16

4. Swap out E7 heads with GT40 heads that my dad has in his garage

5. Replace stock exhaust manifold with headers and run it either single 3" straight pipe or throw a Flowmaster super 10 on it
-Flowtech Headers 12504FLT
-Flowmaster Super 10 843015

With all of this being said, please let me know if one of these parts wont work or if i need some adjustment. I'm trying to get some tire squealing, all american, shaved beaver, bald eagle power out of this. Thanks guys.

P.S. the reason why they are all off summit is because i live 30 minutes away from one of their three stores. Lucky me i guess?

That cam is a step backwords as your motor already has a decent roller cam in it, simply add 1.7 rockers with the stock cam and you will have roughly the same results.

You've got a great layout of parts there, I wish the cams and exhaust were that cheap here!

The camshaft you've picked would be a great upgrade on a stockish motor that you want to have some grunt - moderate lift and duration are the key to keeping your bottom end and a lot of people overdo it. You seem to have picked what looks like a nice, moderate grind that should work well.

The long-tube headers will work well and give you more power throughout the range. A lot of people forget that not only do headers give you better power up top, they also increase scavenging efficiency and boost the midrange as well as fuel economy. Definitely throw a muffler on it, though. It'll still sound good when you hit the loud pedal but won't drive you crazy on long trips.

The manifold looks like its a pricey and intricate item. I'm not sure I'd pay that much money for an intake setup going onto a relatively stock engine. Your stock unit, even if it only had a 70mm throttlebody, would still be able to provide more air than the engine could use unless you started doing some serious head modifications. I would spend the money elsewhere.

The roller rockers fall inbetween - they are a good item and nice for peace of mind, but are they necessary? I would stay with the stamped steel stock units with the cam you are running, and install new valve springs and seals instead. It doesn't matter how good your rockers are if the spring can't keep control of the valves!

The short version? The camshaft, headers and muffler are great additions given your goal of having a bit more muscle under the hood. The roller rockers are a good upgrade but probably a bit overkill - do new springs and seals first. The manifold is expensive for the potential gains (unless someone with experience can post and say otherwise?) and is money best spent elsewhere - cold air intake, shift kit for the auto, new synthetic engine/trans/diff oils... and so on!
