Hi, I have a C4 trans that was just rebuilt (less than 1000 miles) Now, my problem is that after it is well warmed up, as in running for more than 15 or 20 minutes, the shift into 3rd is, well, odd. It has to hunt for 3rd, you know. Well, what is there for me to do? I took it back to the rebuilder, he went and cleaned the valve body and put it back together, it has been better, but I don't think it's as good as it should be. It also gets a little to sensitive to downshifts after warmed up, but I think the downshift cable is set ok. Also, I don't want to mess with the vacuum modulator. (not getting involved with that again! seems ok also, brand new), now, what the Heck am I supposed to do? I am wondering if putting in a mild stage 1 shift kit will do anything? How about an in line trans filter? Both? PLease help! TIA
